Descrição
A iniciativa FRIDA, um programa da organização LACNIC, o Registro de Endereçamento da Internet para a América Latina e o Caribe, está com inscrições abertas para receber propostas de fortalecimento da internet na região.
Segundo a divulgação da iniciativa, acessada pela ABCR, são três os eixos temáticos do programa: Estabilidade e Segurança da Internet; A Internet Livre e Aberta; e Acesso à Internet. As propostas devem ter duração máxima de 12 meses, e também há a possibilidade de se candidatar para receber prêmios por ação já realizada.
Todas eles têm data de inscrição até o último minuto do dia 22 de maio, no fuso horário uruguaio, e a candidatura pode ser realizada em português. Todas as informações estão descritas aqui.

Descrição
The National Institutes of Health (NIH), a part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is the primary Federal agency for conducting and supporting medical research. Composed of 27 Institutes and Centers, the NIH provides leadership and financial support to researchers in every state and throughout the world.
The Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) aims to provide an expedited funding mechanism for research on Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) and Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Valores
R01: application budgets are not limited but need to reflect the actual needs of the proposed project. The maximum project period is five years.
R21: the combined budget for direct costs for the two-year project period may not exceed US$275,000.00, and no more than US$200,000.00 may be requested in any single year. The total project period may not exceed two years.

Elegibilidade
Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Institutions) are eligible to apply. Foreign (non-US) institutions must follow policies described in the NIH Grants Policy Statement, and procedures for foreign institutions described throughout the Application Guide.
Any individual(s) with the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to carry out the proposed research as the Program Director/Principal Investigator (PD/PI) is invited to work with his/her organization to develop an application for support. Individuals from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups as well as individuals with disabilities are always encouraged to apply for NIH support.
Applicants must have a valid Dun and Bradstreet Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number in order to begin each of the following registrations: Central Contractor Registration (CCR), Grants.gov and eRA Commons.

Forma de Solicitação
It is critical that applicants follow the instructions in the SF424 (R&R) Application Guide. Applicants must read and follow all application instructions in the Application Guide as well as any program-specific instructions noted in Section IV of the R01 or Section IV of the R21.
There are several options available to submit the application through Grants.gov to NIH and Department of Health and Human Services partners. Candidates must use one of the submission options to access the application forms for the opportunity:
Use the NIH ASSIST System to prepare, submit and track the application online;
Use an institutional system-to-system (S2S) solution to prepare and submit the application to Grants.gov and eRA Commons to track the application. Applicants should check with their institutional officials regarding availability;
Use Grants.gov Workspace to prepare and submit the application and eRA Commons to track the application.
