On January 6, 2025, IN PRPGP N. 001/2025 was published, establishing the procedures for the simplified admission of international students to the Graduate Programs at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM). This initiative leverages unfilled vacancies from regular selection processes and offers additional supplementary vacancies.
1st Semester of 2025:

Degree requirement for applicants:

Master: Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering

Doctorate: Graduate degree in Engineering or Electronics Engineering and Master degree in Electrical Engineering or Master Degree in Electronics Engineering

Applications are scheduled to take place from January 30 to February 28, 2025, by submitting the required documents via email to foreignstudentapplication.ppgee@ufsm.br
The results will be announced by March 20, 2025. The start of the master’s or doctoral program is expected to occur between April and July 2025.
The required documentation, as well as the process dates, will be detailed in the Simplified Call for International Students, which will be published on January 30, 2025.
