Has received his Bachelor and Master degrees in Electrical Engineer from the Federal University of Santa Maria in 2013 and 2015, respectively. He is currently working towards his Doctorate degree at Power Electronics and Control Research Group (GEPOC), with an interest in optimization techniques and reliability for power electronics design. He also has experience in renewable energy modeling and photovoltaic systems.
Maikel Menke, Eng.

He received his Bachelor and Master Degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), Brazil, respectively in 2015 and 2016. He is with the Electronic Ballast Research Group (GEDRE) since 2009, and Electrical and Computational Systems Research and Development Group (GSEC) since 2010, where he is currently working towards his Doctorate degree. His research interests include artificial lighting systems, LED drivers, power factor correction, resonant converters, self-oscillating systems, and digital control applied to LED drivers.

She received her Bachelor, Master, Doctoral and Post-Doctoral degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Maria – UFSM, respectively in 2010, 2012, 2015 and 2016. She has been a professor at UFSM since 2016, and researcher at the Power Electronics and Control Research Group (GEPOC). Her main research interests include modulation and control of multilevel converters and power electronics applied to renewable sources.
